Brand & Digital case · proving the identity was earned and the business runs better
A thirty-year reputation turned into an identity, a website and the systems that run the bureau.
Brief
Thirty years of trust, and almost no brand.
Clients arrived by word of mouth, and the brand's image was the owner's own reputation. The identity had to carry that trust without the owner in the room, first on paper for the Ahmedabad office, then online.

Audience
What the families weigh, in order.

Benchmark
The register to sit beside.
These families already trust a small set of hospitality and heirloom names with their biggest occasions. The bureau had to look at home next to them, without borrowing from any of them.
Sources
Drawn from what the families already hold sacred.
Form
From three wedding objects to one radial mark.
Bangles gave a circle, the mangalsutra a diamond, the necklace a chain. Hand studies of the Om stroke and a peacock feather became petals, and repeated petals became a ring. Seven directions, V1 to V7, were drawn from there.

Selection
Eight finalists, one vote.
The finalists were put to a vote. The interlocking mandala took five votes; a Devanagari monogram came second with four.

Type and colour
Two typefaces, redrawn into one name.
The wordmark sets Plantin MT Pro Light against Classico URM, then redraws the G, the A and the JI so the name reads as one piece. One gold carries the mark; navy carries the name when the mark is absent.
